I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in Morro Bay, California, where I live with my husband, Kevin, and our endlessly curious cat, Catticus Dude. Therapy is my second career, and one that I came to with a deep sense of purpose. After years of traveling the world, exploring more than 60 countries, and working across diverse communities, I realized that what matters most to me is connection—how we understand ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we find meaning in our lives.

I earned my Master of Science in Psychology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, following a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology years earlier. Before becoming a therapist, I built a rich professional life outside of mental health, which now gives me a wider, more grounded perspective in the therapy room. Clients often tell me they appreciate my life experience, my calm presence, and the way I help them feel both understood and empowered.

My clinical work has included time in partial residential psychiatric facilities, nonprofit counseling centers, school-based programs, and specialized services supporting immigrant teen mothers. These experiences strengthened my cultural sensitivity and affirmed my belief that each person carries a unique story—and an inherent inner wisdom—that deserves to be honored.

My therapeutic approach is warm, person-centered, and humanistic. I integrate elements of:

  • Mindfulness-based practices
  • Somatic awareness
  • Humanistic and client-centered approaches
  • Psychoanalytic insight
  • Culturally responsive care

My goal is to create a space where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged to rediscover their own strength. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, identity questions, or life transitions, I aim to meet you exactly where you are and walk with you at a pace that feels right.

Outside of my work, you can usually find me walking the beach in Morro Bay, practicing yoga, making beach-glass jewelry, playing pickleball, or planning my next travel adventure. These experiences—movement, creativity, and exploring the world—continually remind me of the resilience, curiosity, and beauty within each person.

I would be honored to be part of your healing journey.
